Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Fremont, California, Everex has established itself as a world leader in the personal computer industry and a pioneer in bringing open source and Web 2.0 desktops and notebooks to the mainstream. gOS worked with Everex to launch the $199 Everex gPC at Wal-Mart, and continues to work together to introduce open source, web centered products to mainstream users.
Monsoon Company is a software development consultancy based down the street from us in Berkeley, California. They’ve developed desktop software for major PC products, such as HP’s SmartCalendar on the HP TouchSmart PC. Now Monsoon and gOS are working together to seamlessly integrate web software with the gOS desktop.
Box.net is an online storage service that works just like a local hard drive. Not only can you store files in your Box.net, you can also open these files with other popular web apps, e.g. opening up a document with Google Documents. gOS works with Box.net to provide online storage to our users.
